Friday and Saturday saw many upsets and saw many firsts for a lot of programs. Campbellsville ran away with the team title scoring a whopping 230 points. They had 13 All Americans this weekend. 3 of whom were Champions in their weight classes. Life University and University of Jamestown had a very tight race for second place in which Life finished with 113 points and Jamestown had 111.5 points. Rounding out the Trophy teams was first year program Presbyterian with 94 points (only 1.5 points ahead of Oklahoma City).
In what appears to be a first in an extended period of time (potentially ever), all 20 teams represented at the WCWA National Championships had at least one All American. This meant that first year programs like Presbyterian, Augsburg, Texas Wesleyan, and Central Methodist all had All Americans in their first year of existence.
There were 10 individual Champions Crowned this weekend as well and they looked like this -
101 - Esthela Trevino (Umpqua CC)
109 - Emily Shilson (Augsburg)
116 - Jaslynn Gallegos (Presbyterian)
123 - Julia Vidallon (Life)
130 - Abigail Nette (Campbellsville)
136 - Zoe Nowicki (Adrian)
143 - Morgan Norris (Presbyterian)
155 - Rachel Waters (Oklahoma City)
170 - Mariah Harris (Campbellsville)
191 - Alexandra Castillo (Campbellsville)
